The Beginning
When Rob Higgins decided to lean into a new musical direction blending his rock background with classic country storytelling Chris was there to lend a hand from behind the scenes.
Having shared decades of friendship and creative history, the two naturally fell back into collaboration. But this time, Chris’s role wasn’t as a front-line performer it was as the quiet technical and creative support helping Rob bring his vision to life.
Supporting the Vision
“Country music isn’t really my home base, but helping Rob bring his ideas to life reminded me how much I enjoy building something meaningful with friends. He’s got a strong team around him I just try to help where it counts.”
Chris Blais / Nordmach
Over the years, Chris has provided tech and production support whenever needed helping with video direction, web design and digital media. He also produced and edited Rob’s “This Old Bar” music video, contributing some keyboards for the track.
Beyond studio work, Chris occasionally handled some front-of-house audio for live shows and took charge of media playback, visual design, and social content for Rob’s popular Halloween Bash events from advertising materials to stage visuals and synced video elements.

HiGGi’s Country Project – friendship, music,
and good times behind every show.
The Band
HiGGi’s Country Project is powered by Rob’s core team musicians Chris has known and respected since their Drop Dead Famous days.
The nucleus of the band includes:
Rob Higgins – Vocals, songwriting
Chris Holmes – Drums
Scott Holmes – Bass
Dave Sinewitz – Guitars, songwriting, keys
John Drew – Guitars, songwriting
Their chemistry and commitment give the project its unmistakable energy and authenticity.
While Chris’s main focus remains on Nordmach, he continues to assist Rob when needed especially on new material and visual projects launched in late 2025. His contributions help keep the production sharp and cohesive, without ever shifting the creative spotlight away from Rob and the band.
Legacy Connection
HiGGi’s Country Project represents friendship in motion a reminder that creativity, in any genre, grows stronger when shared.
For Chris, these collaborations are about connection, not categories a chance to use his experience and tools to support the people who helped shape his journey.
